Red Ribbon week!

Red ribbon week is a week where schools promote staying drug free. During this week red ribbons are handed out to students to wear during the whole week. In Northern Cambria school district the themes for high school are: Monday-Color explosion Tuesday-twins day Wednesday-jersey day Thursday-decade day (throwback Thursday) and Friday-Halloween costume or shirt day! The themes for the Elementary/Middle school are: Monday-It's no white lie--Drugs are bad! (Wear a white shirt with a white lie written on it or just wear white) Tuesday-We are Red-dy to be Drug-free! (wear red) Wednesday-City or Country, Drugs Don't Belong Here! (dress country or country club) Thursday-From student to teacher, Let's All Be Drug-Free (Students dress like teachers and teachers dress like students) Friday-Scare Drugs Away! (Elementary parade. Middle school can wear costumes no full face mask or face paint)
Red ribbon week usually takes place during the week before Halloween. This is a week to dress up and stay drug free! Don’t be afraid to dress up and participate in Red ribbon week! We are working toward a drug free community!
