My First Homecoming

My First Homecoming

When I got off the bus, I walked up to my house, did my chores, and played with my puppies. When it was time to get ready for homecoming, I had my mom do my hair, then I slipped my dress on, got my shoes on, and got pictures.

When I arrived at the school, we all waited for them to open the doors, and once they did, we went inside. When I walked inside the school they had an area where you put your stuff down on the table. They searched your purses and they scanned you with a metal detector. After you got wanded with the detector, you walked over to the other table and told them your name.

When you told them your name, they made sure you were on the list and I was. When I walked in, I sat down at the table for a couple of minutes until people started to come in. When my cousins and friends got there and the DJ started to play music, we all started dancing. While I was dancing, one of my guy friends asked me if I wanted to be his date tonight and I said yes obviously.

When the slow dances came on, we slowly danced together and talked. When more hyped songs came on, I started to get my friends to dance because one of my friends was standing still like a statue, so I got her to dance. Later in the night more slow dances played and me and my guy friend slow danced. I did have a really good time and I am looking forward to going to the winter ball this year with him.
