Please follow the below steps for Tally not open Error:
Step 1: If a customer called for a query that his Data is not syncing then check with the desktop app first if the desktop app is syncing or not.
Step 2: Take the access of the system and check whether tally is open or not with ODBC with the respective companies which needs to be sync
Step 2.1: If tally is open with ODBC with respective companies - what needs to be done?
If tally is Open with respective companies and still not syncing then the respective agents should check the Debug logs in customer system and accordingly need to solve.
Step 2.2: If tally is NOT open with ODBC with respective companies - what needs to be done?
If tally is NOT open with ODBC with respective companies then the agent should explain to open the company in ODBC tab to sync
Step 3: Check with the tally that it is open with Licensed version or Educational mode. Guide the customer to open to the Licensed version and explain the process of sync.
Step 3.1: If tally is open with licensed version- what needs to be done?
If Tally Licensed version is open and still not syncing then the respective agents should check the Debug logs in customer system and accordingly need to solve.
Step 3.2: If tally is NOT open with educational mode - what needs to be done?
If the Tally is NOT open with Education mode then it will be open with Licensed version and data will get sync.
Note- If the issue is not resolved, then forward that call to the L2 team or raise a ticket.
