Form Small Groups (3-5 students per group)
Each group gets a sheet of paper or a digital document
Choose a Story Starter: Write one on the board, or let students pick from these fun options:
"The moment I opened my lunchbox, I knew something was VERY wrong..."
"Suddenly, the lights flickered, and a mysterious voice whispered my name."
"I was just walking to school when a UFO landed right in front of me!"
"I never expected to find a secret door in the library, but there it was."
Independent
Each student writes the first 3-4 sentences of the story.
After 2 minutes, they fold the paper (or hide the previous text in a doc) and pass it to the next person.
The next student only sees the last sentence before continuing the story!
Repeat until everyone has contributed at least twice.
🔹 The catch? No peeking! Writers must build on what little they know!
Reflection
Groups unfold the paper and read their stories aloud.
Expect unexpected plot twists, hilarious misunderstandings, and wild creativity!
