Focus on Auggie’s character traits. Find quotes from the text (that we have read up to) that support your thoughts. Use the GC task set up in 6RF.

Early finishers can find more quotes or use Prodigy/ My Spelling on EA.
ROTATION 3- Grammar
Students use GC (see task in 6RF) to look at a quotations PPT. They then correct the sentences in the document. If they complete that, they have a go at writing their own sentences using quotation marks.
ROTATION 4 - Teacher Group
Use either a magazine or book. Students decide on a focus piece. Discuss the language type, author’s purpose and devices in the text. Keep a list and add to it throughout the week.
