Margaret McFadden was born in County Donegal, Ireland in 1865. She entered sometime during 1885 and was invested November 21st of that year. She was professed as Sister M. Walburga on December 15, 1886 and made perpetual vows on November 21, 1893. Subsequent to first profession she taught at Old Conception and in 1887 was sent with several sisters to teach in Arkansas. She returned to Clyde in 1889 in poor health, which she was afflicted with until her death on April 28, 1896.
