Mary Gaa was born in Upper Sandusky, Ohio on May 31, 1871. She entered October 21, 1890, made First Profession on August 25, 1892 and Perpetual Vows on September 10, 1904.
She died peacefully of consumption the afternoon of June 28, 1907 while the sisters were singing the Office. She had longed to be united with her heavenly bridegroom. She was 36 years old and in the 15th year of her profession. During her illness she was an example of patient submission to God’s will.
