Philomena Ineichen was born in Lucerne, Switzerland in June, 1862. She entered our convent at Clyde on October 17, 1888, was invested on February 10, 1889, and professed on May 3, 1890 as Sister M. Georgia.
The only information we have about her is that she was a talented musician and taught music at St. Joseph's Academy. A brother of hers - Father Anselm, O.S.B., monk at Conception, was also a musician.
Sister was gifted in other ways as well and was a real asset to the community so that her loss was keenly felt when she died on April 10, 1909 at the age of forty-seven.
