Anne Gertrude Ginder was born at Alfordsville, Indiana, July 3, 1887. She entered at Clyde on May 24, 1912, was invested January 18, 1913 and made simple vows receiving the name of Sister M. Frances on January 24, 1914. As she was not robust and felt unable to assume the obligations of the Divine Office she did not make perpetual vows, but became an Oblate, in which capacity she led an exemplary religious life.
Sister was very intelligent and well informed, and had been a successful teacher at the time of entering our Congregation. She taught in the Clyde school for some years, worked in the printery many years and later helped in the correspondence and order departments.
In her later years Sister suffered much, which she bore silently and patiently, and died September 6, 1967 at the age of eighty years.
