Anna Albers was born July 13, 1867 at St. Charles, Missouri. We do not have the date of her entrance at Clyde but apparently it was early in the year 1886 as she was invested with the Benedictine habit on August 24th of that year. Her first vows were offered to God on November 17, 1887, the feast of St. Gertrude, and her covenant with her Bridegroom sealed with perpetual vows on July 11, 1894. After eighteen years of religious life, God called her to His eternal embrace on September 27, 1905.
