The Committee has completed the projects for the three month plan.

1 Manual Writers Subcommittee

• • The Manual Writers Subcommittee has been formed to write the next set of manuals.

  • We are looking at the overall manual planning e.g., the number of manuals. We are currently discussing having Basic, Advanced, T4F and Continuing Learning Manuals, and considering a Youth Manual.

  • We are using American English writing conventions, specifically as defined in APA Style Manual.

FTM reprint

• • The Facilitators Training Manual has been sent to the printer.

  • Unfortunately we were unable to include corrections in the reprint, due to the formatting problems we have had. We are looking at ways to alleviate formatting problems for the next set of manuals.

Spanish FTM Manual Companion Manual

• • The Spanish Companion Facilitators Training Manual translation has been completed.

  • Thanks to the Board for permission to make the electronic companion manuals available on the AVP International website. Electronic copies of all three Spanish Companion manuals are now available to the website members.

The Committee is now working on the directives from the Seattle National Gathering Report, e.g., articulating the issues around credentialing and certification. We have clarified the intent of some of these directives with Dawn.
