May 7, 2017 Education Report to the Board Meeting

• The Committee, its teams and work groups continue to be very busy

• All are preparing for the Conference, one of the Committee’s busiest times of the year

• We are preparing the Annual Education Report (what date does this need to be in by and who do we give it to?)

• We are also preparing the Strategic Plan for the next year, 2018

• The Knowledge Management Team is busy working with the History Committee to organise the material that will be taken to Swarthmore after the Conference for archiving

• Marge Schlitz will be taking boxes of historical material to the Conference. This material will be sorted and listed at the Conference. Following the Conference, Marge and Dan will take the material to Swarthmore

· As the Liaison with Inside Facilitators Team moves out of Education, a new team has been formed, tentatively called New Advanced Workshop Topics Team. This Team will look at the development of material for new Advanced themes. This team will collaborate with the Education Committee to look at the boundaries between Circles 2 and Circle 3.
