2020 GATHERING FUNDING FOR BOARD MEMBERS

The Board seeks to ensure that every Board Member is able to attend the Gathering and has a fund to support you if needed. This fund has a limit so (depending on the level of requests) we may not be able to fully fund your registration and travel. A Board committee will review fund requests and you will be notified if we can not fund you completely. Please apply for Board Funding if you really need the support to attend.

If you are applying for Board Funding to attend the Annual Gathering, here is the process:

1. Register normally from either the Single or Double room options.

2. The NEED FINANCIAL HELP? section has an option to request Board Member Funding. The CODE to enable that selection is "nationalboard"

3. Board funding automatically provides a credit for registration fees for the Core Gathering (Fri -> Mon) plus, optionally Linens, Monday lunch, and Monday night stay-over if needed to attend the Monday afternoon Board meeting. It does not include Tuesday Post-Conference.

4. TRAVEL is optionally available (You can ask for travel reimbursement if you need this support too):

-- If by Public Transportation, optionally enter your projected round trip fare. Send your fare receipts for reimbursement to treasurer@avpusa.org or bring to the Gathering.

-- If by Car, optionally enter your round trip mileage (use Google maps). You will be reimbursed $0.25 / mile (capped at the price of an air fare for the same trip).
