AVP-USA Budget lists an expected increase in Product Sales from current $34,000 to $41,000. In concert with Finance Committee, we are proposing an "across the board" 30% increase in prices to meet that goal.
Some considerations:
We’re gradually moving from a strictly volunteer organization to one that uses payment for particularly essential/expert/time consuming functions. Currently: Transformer Editor and Fundraiser.
Many of the Communication Committee functions in addition to Transformer Editor fall in this classification, the most critical being product (manual) distribution.
It would be asking a lot for that position to continue to be voluntary. The position has already evolved into 5 days/week on a regular basis and sometimes more.
At current pay levels this means AVP-USA needs to cover $8600 in compensation for the Shipping Manager.
“Shipping Manager” is actually “Administrative Manager”, as other administrative office/clerical functions will be included in the job (as time allows). Example: Database management, website maintenance, book-keeping, etc.

Note: Both the Basic and T4F had already been discounted (minimal profit) compared to other products, so the 30% increase has a lesser affect on these manuals.
