(1) Now that the AVPI and AVP-USA Education Committees have launched the AVP Workshop Activities Library (AWAL), we are developing the online library for continuing learning (Continuing Learning Online Library).

(2) The AVP-USA Education Committee has written and revised the Facilitation Community Model, which is a five-circle model that

(a) defines the AVP Standard Workshops and principles that form the Core of AVP workshop facilitation, and

(b) distinguishes Core AVP training formats from training approaches that vary from the Core. These training formats are described as adaptations and variations on the Core training model.

(3) After further feedback from the Adaptations Committee and other facilitators, we will post the five-circles facilitation model on the AVP-USA Education website.

(4) AVPI Education Committee is planning to sponsor some webinars this year. Specifically, on March 29th the Keeping Facilitators Involved Team will present a webinar on “challenges to keeping facilitators involved”. Additional information is forthcoming. Meanwhile, AVPI and USA Education Committees are calling for additional facilitators to participate in and contribute to this webinar .
