Teach graduate education and counseling psychology students theories and methods for working in public and private education and in institutional settings with an emphasis on at-risk nonconventional youth. Courses consist of understanding best practices and working directly with normal and troubled youth/adults in both institutional and non- institutional settings. Expertise in classroom management with secondary and elementary students as well as TPA certified. Created and implemented programs that are a requirement for receiving certification from the State of California as well as developing the Corrections Emphasis Program in Counseling Psychology. lecturer in Warsaw, Poland -- “Working with Nonconventional Youth” and Professional Development trainer in Manila, Philippines on “Classroom Management”.

Program leader and teacher for a model team-teaching program for grades 5-6 utilizing collaborative decision making and site based management for a team of six staff and one hundred and twenty students. The model program utilized parents, community organizations, business partnerships, and agencies. The program was a demonstration site for the California State Department of Education and the Far West Laboratory of Research and Development.
Served as summer school principal in 1965 and 1966.
