For each issue, you will collaborate with a group of classmates on at least one article. The following form is meant to support you in the process. First pick a content area that interests you. From there, you should check out the following questions on your own and think about your own answers. Once the groups have formed, you will have a couple of days to contribute your ideas and finally post your agreement.
Here are the questions that each group will need to answer.
Questions to Address:
What will be the focus of your group work? NVHS Local National Global Entertainment Sports Other
How will your group collaborate?
When will you work? What deadlines will you impose on yourselves relative to the peer editing and publishing deadlines?
What expectations will you have around communications? How often will members need to check in and respond?
What roles will members fulfill? It might be a good idea to choose roles based on both strengths and interests. Though you can create your own roles and everyone must contribute some writing, possible roles include: headline writer, quote writer, image expert, or editor.
What recommendations do you have for group members who do not participate or live up to the agreement?
What else did you come up with beyond these questions?
