RACL Library Impact and Value (LIV)
Purpose
Using the 2021 Working Group report, the RACL Library Impact and Value committee will further develop and share assessment best practices, and develop assessment guidelines and procedures related to local, regional, state, and national assessment data collection needs while assisting libraries with demonstrating our impact on student learning and student success. This committee will also assist and serve as a resource to institutions with limited or no library assessment personnel staff.
Current Goals
#1 Establishing a standardized baseline of data collection and assessment across all University System of Georgia institutions based on the first recommendation from the 2021 Working Group Report.
Currently looking at how OpenAthens data can be used to create a standard of assessment.
Consulting with institutions passing the most attributes to OpenAthens.
#2 Create a report to deliver to RACL that encompasses the work done over the course of the year.
