Governance

The GIL OPAC/Discovery Committee will determine and document standard OPAC and Discovery configurations for all USG institutions.

Branding

  • A standard USG logo will be used for the system-wide interfaces alongside the institutional logo. Each institution will have a custom accent color for the search bar header.

Functionality

  • System-wide user interface functionality, including holdings display options, scopes, tabs, labels, facets, and other interface decisions will be made by the OPAC/Discovery Committee with the input of GIL members and feedback from end-users.

Primo VE Configuration

  • Primo environments are fully customizable through Alma.

GIL OPAC / DISCOVERY COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP

The committee will have a minimum of 8 members with equitable representation from the four groups of University System of Georgia institutions (state colleges, state universities, comprehensive universities, and research universities.

Committee Meetings

The GIL OPAC/Discovery Committee will meet on a regular basis. The scheduling and format of these meetings will be determined by Committee leadership.
