The GIL OPAC/Discovery Committee will conduct usability studies of GIL-Find as testing needs are identified, including for general usability, accessibility, and mobile use.

All institutions conducting their own usability testing are encouraged to report their findings to the OPAC/Discovery Committee using the form at http://goto.gil.usg.edu/changeform.

Recommended Minimum Contrast Ratio for Normal Text:

Pursuant to WCAG 2.0 AA compliance, the GIL OPAC/Discovery Committee recommends a minimum 4.5:1 or greater contrast ratio for all normal text on all web portals subject to OPAC Committee oversight. GIL Support is strongly encouraged to pursue a 4.5:1 or greater contrast ratio for all published text under its control.
