Cataloging Projects
The following is a list of possible record enhancement and post-migration management projects that you and your cataloging team can choose to work on as time and your institution's priorities allow.
Please take the following into consideration:
When working with NZ records, conduct cataloging work in OCLC so the updates will be more "permanent".
This list will evolve over time as new projects are added.
Completion of this work is voluntary and there is no deadline.
These projects were identified by members of your cataloging community as they experienced a need at their institution. If there is a catalog enhancement project that you would like included, email the GIL Cataloging Committee officers: usgcataloging@gmail.com.
Projects designated as Work in Progress (WIP) are enhancement projects that have been identified but the documentation is not yet completed.
