Liam An has demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and sportsmanship in swimming throughout 2024. His outstanding achievements at the diocesan, state, and national levels reflect his commitment to excellence and his ability to perform at the highest level of competition.

Liam began his year with a series of remarkable performances. At the diocesan and state levels, Liam consistently delivered strong results. At the NSWPSSA Swimming Championships, he earned podium finishes in the 50m Backstroke and 200m Individual Medley. His achievements at this elite event earned him selection to represent New South Wales at the School Sport Australia National Swimming Championships in July 2024.

Competing on the national stage, Liam excelled in both individual and team events. He was a finalist in three individual events, showcasing his versatility and skill across multiple strokes and distances. Liam’s standout performance came as part of the 200m Medley Relay team, where he contributed to a gold-medal-winning effort, demonstrating his ability to thrive under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.

His ability to compete across a wide range of events, from freestyle to butterfly and breaststroke, highlights his versatility as an athlete.
