NSWCCC Blue Award for Excellence in Football
Darcy Mackay has consistently demonstrated exceptional talent, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout his golfing career, earning him the distinction of receiving the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges Blue Award for Golf in 2024. Representing the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges Golf Team for four consecutive years (2021-2024), Darcy has shown remarkable consistency and resilience, earning the respect and admiration of both his peers and competitors.
In 2024, Darcy finished 4th in the Boys Division at the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges Golf Championships at Belmont Golf Club, overcoming challenging conditions with determination and skill. At the NSW All Schools Golf Selections, held at Moore Park and The Coast Golf Clubs, Darcy was crowned New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges Champion Boy and finished 3rd overall in the Boys Division. His impressive rounds of 68, 73, 69, and 74 for a final score of 210 highlighted his ability to perform under pressure and excel at the highest level.
Darcy’s success continued at the School Sport Australia Golf Championships at Royal Canberra Golf Club, where he remained undefeated in the match play rounds. As a key member of the NSW Boys Team, he made significant contributions to their victory in the Gavin Semple Shield for match play and the Dean Shakes Championship for the lowest scratch scores, helping NSW secure the title of Australian Teams Match Play Champions.
