Olivia Callaghan has had an extraordinary year in cricket, showcasing her exceptional skill, leadership, and unwavering commitment both on and off the field. A key member of the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges and New South Wales All Schools teams, Olivia’s contributions have been instrumental in her teams’ success. At the 2024 New South Wales All Schools Carnival, she excelled with both bat and ball, averaging 35 as an opener and delivering match-winning performances, including a critical 60 off 63 balls in the opening game and a decisive 3/8 in the championship final against New South Wales CIS.

Olivia’s remarkable all-round performances earned her a spot in the New South Wales Exchange Team, where she played a crucial role in securing New South Wales’ third consecutive T20 series win against Queensland. Named MVP of the T20 series, Olivia dominated with both bat and ball, scoring at a strike rate of over 100 and taking key wickets while maintaining an impressive economy rate of just four runs per over.

Her achievements extend to the national level, where Olivia was selected for the U19 New South Wales Metro State Team and invited to train with the Sydney Thunder. Her ability to balance representative commitments with academic pursuits and involvement in school activities, including designing fitness programs and mentoring younger students, reflects her discipline, dedication, and leadership.
