Sofia has been a key member of the Polding Girls Hockey Team for the past two years. In 2023, she contributed to the team’s undefeated Gold Medal victory at the NSWPSSA Championships in Tamworth. In 2024, as Co-Captain, Sofia led the team to another Gold Medal at the NSWPSSA Championships in Newcastle. Her skill and strength as a dynamic center-half and back were pivotal to the team’s success, showcasing her ability to dominate midfield play, execute powerful hits, and guide the defense with precision.
Sofia’s exceptional awareness on the field and her ability to read the play are hallmarks of her game. Whether running the ball through midfield, intercepting plays, or delivering strong penalty corner shots, Sofia consistently displayed an advanced level of skill and tactical understanding. Her positive attitude and willingness to embrace feedback further highlight her dedication to continuous improvement and her growth as an athlete.
