As a member of the NSWPSSA Boys Netball Team, Morten competed in the School Sport Australia Netball Championships in Melbourne, where he was a key player in the defensive end. Predominantly playing as Goalkeeper, Morten also expanded his skills as Goal Defence, showcasing his versatility and game awareness. His exceptional ability to lead on-court communication, particularly in directing defensive strategies and tracking the attacking team’s movements, was instrumental in securing possession for New South Wales.
Morten’s achievements in netball are complemented by his success across a range of other sports, including AFL, swimming, cross country, and athletics. His dedication to cross-training and his commitment to continuous improvement are reflected in his record-breaking performance at Beaton Park, where he set a new 1500m track record with a time of 5:09. Morten’s ability to balance and excel in multiple sports demonstrates his work ethic, focus, and drive to achieve his goals.
