NSWCCC Blue Award for Excellence in Triathlon
Jack Caldwell has had an exceptional year in triathlon, showcasing remarkable talent and extraordinary dedication to his sport. In 2024, Jack was crowned the NSWCCC Senior Individual Triathlon Champion and the NSW All Schools Senior Triathlon Champion, solidifying his reputation as one of Australia’s top young triathletes. His leadership and ability to inspire others were recognized when he was named captain of the NSW All Schools Triathlon Team.
At the Australian All Schools Triathlon Championships, Jack delivered an extraordinary performance, earning an individual silver medal in the Senior Boys category and contributing to the team’s silver medal in the Senior Mixed Relay. These accomplishments were even more impressive considering they came just 11 days after a serious bike training accident, demonstrating Jack’s resilience and determination to overcome adversity.
Jack’s consistent excellence has not gone unnoticed. He is a recipient of the Commonwealth Games NSW Athlete Grant and a member of both the Australian Triathlon Target Talent Program and the NSW Triathlon Development Squad.
