NSWCCC Blue Award for Excellence in Football
Annabella Keep is an exceptional footballer whose remarkable achievements in 2024 reflect her extraordinary talent, leadership, and dedication to the sport. As a key player for the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges (NSWCCC) U18 Football Team, Annabella played an integral role in their undefeated championship campaign, marking her third consecutive year representing NSWCCC since the age of 14. Her unwavering commitment to excellence on the field has consistently set her apart as both a leader and a role model for her peers.
At the NSW All Schools Championships, Annabella’s outstanding performances earned her the prestigious NSW Team Player Award. Representing New South Wales at the School Sport Australia tournament in Perth, she was a standout player as part of the undefeated, championship-winning team, showcasing her ability to perform at the highest level. Her exceptional skills and dedication were further recognised with her selection to the Australian Schoolgirls U18 Team, which is set to compete in the Dallas Cup in April 2025.
Annabella’s accomplishments extend beyond school competitions. At just 16 years of age, she competes in the National Premier League (NPL) 1st Grade, proving herself among the elite in her sport. She also represented New South Wales at the National Youth Championship, where her team claimed victory. Recently identified by the U20 Young Matildas coach, Annabella is now training with the Sydney FC Women’s A-League team, a testament to her immense potential and commitment to furthering her growth in the sport.
Beyond her athletic achievements, Annabella exemplifies the values of sportsmanship, leadership, and service. As a Peer Support Leader and volunteer at various school events and community initiatives, she has consistently demonstrated her dedication to helping others and contributing to her school community.
