Jonte Wicks has demonstrated exceptional skill, dedication, and commitment to hockey officiating at both state and national levels throughout 2024. As a student umpire for the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges U15s and Opens Hockey teams, Jonte consistently showcased his ability to manage games effectively and professionally. His selection as an umpire for the NSW All Schools team at the School Sport Australia Championships highlights his expertise and composure on the field.

At the School Sport Australia Championships, Jonte’s outstanding performance earned him the honour of umpiring the Boys Gold Medal Match—an impressive achievement that reflects his advanced understanding of the game and his ability to manage high-pressure situations with confidence. This followed his success in officiating key matches, including the U16 Boys State Championship Final and the Division 1 Women’s Grand Final in the Central Coast Hockey competition.
