NSWCCC Bar Award for Excellence in Swimming
Stephanie Bruzzese has had an extraordinary year in swimming, earning recognition at every level of competition for her exceptional talent and unwavering determination. Her achievements include numerous gold medals at both the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges and All Schools swimming championships, highlighting her dominance across multiple events. Notably, Stephanie medaled at the Australian Olympic Trials and achieved outstanding results at the Long and Short Course Australian Swimming Championships, further cementing her status as one of the nation’s top swimmers.
At the New South Wales Combined Catholic Colleges Championships, Stephanie claimed gold in all five of her events, becoming the Multi-Class Champion with first-place finishes in the 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke, and 50m Butterfly. Her success continued at the All Schools Championships, where she earned five additional gold medals, a silver, and multiple personal bests. At the pinnacle of competition, the School Sport Australia Championships, Stephanie captured two national titles in the 200m Freestyle and 100m Breaststroke Multi-Class events, along with silver and bronze medals across a range of disciplines.
Stephanie’s accomplishments are not only a testament to her remarkable skill but also to her tireless dedication to training and self-improvement.
