NSWCCC Blue Award for Excellence in Water Polo
Annabel Lynch has had an extraordinary year in water polo, demonstrating exceptional talent, leadership, and commitment to the sport. As the captain of the Monte Open Water Polo team, Annabel led her team to victory at the NSWCCC Water Polo Championships and the prestigious Ward-McAuley Cup against Loreto Kirribilli, showcasing her skill and determination. Representing NSWCCC, she competed at the Australian Schools Invitational, further solidifying her place among the top water polo athletes in the state.
Annabel’s achievements extend beyond the school pathway. She was selected for the NSW 17 & Under Water Polo Team and the Australian 18 & Under Water Polo Squad following strong performances at Nationals. Her leadership as captain of the U18 Sydney University Water Polo Team further highlights her exceptional abilities and deep understanding of the game.
Beyond her personal accomplishments, Annabel has served as School Water Polo Captain, mentoring younger players and fostering a supportive, competitive team environment. Her commitment to giving back is also evident in her volunteer coaching efforts, where she has inspired and guided the next generation of players.
