NSWCCC Blue Award for Excellence in Touch Football
Bayley Tranter has had an extraordinary year in Touch Football, showcasing his skill, leadership, and dedication at the highest levels of competition. Representing Maitland/Newcastle at the NSWCCC Touch Championships, Bayley’s standout performances earned him a spot in the NSWCCC U/18 team for the second consecutive year. His consistent excellence on the field and ability to read the game solidified his position as a key player in the team’s campaign.
At the National Youth Championships in Coffs Harbour, Bayley excelled as a middle player, demonstrating exceptional work rate and tactical awareness. His technical expertise in both attack and defense enabled him to identify and exploit opposition weaknesses, while his ability to maintain composure under pressure played a pivotal role in the team’s success. Although NSWCCC narrowly missed a win in the semi-final against Queensland, Bayley’s performance was outstanding and nearly led the team to a hard-fought victory.
Beyond his on-field achievements, Bayley is a valued member of the NSW Emerging Blues U/20 squad, continuing to develop as an elite athlete. He also represents the Maitland Redbacks in both junior and senior representative competitions, consistently contributing to his teams’ success with his skill, work ethic, and commitment.
Bayley’s leadership extends beyond gameplay. As one of the most experienced players on the NSWCCC team, his calm demeanor and deep game knowledge provided stability and confidence for his teammates. Off the field, he approached every team responsibility with thoughtfulness and professionalism, earning the respect of coaches and peers alike.
