Trinity is a small, prestigious liberal arts school offering a top-notch education. Social sciences rule the day here – so you’d be able to explore different paths of study, with lots of options – and classes are small, which allows for great discussion. Administration and faculty are easily accessible, and professors actually know their students. While it’s a smaller school, it’s located in Hartford, close to the capitol, so you’re by no means isolated to a small town. They have amazing career services, and outside academics, Greek life is big.

Popular majors / known for: Social Sciences, Biology, English, Engineering

Academic approach: Liberal Arts based around the Trinity Curriculum. There is a focus on real-world learning opportunities and engaging in the city of Hartford

Campus tradition: At Convocation, the college president squeezes a lemon to toast to the incoming class, which is then followed by lemonade for all. The Lemon Squeezer tradition began as a gift from the class of 1857 to 1859 as a recognition of their excellence, but soon turned into an annual rivalry between classes that resulted in stolen, and replaced, lemon squeezers.
