Babson is a private, diverse business school with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and collaboration. Babson seeks to create an environment of entrepreneurship among a community of goal-driven and disciplined students. They encourage group work, and often pose unconventional assignments that allow for unique experiences. For example, during their first year, students work in teams to run their own business. Professors are passionate and bring real life experience into class, which can be less common at larger research universities. There are extensive networking opportunities, and outside academics, Greek life and sports are huge.

Business Opportunities
You have to major in business, but then you can select your own concentration. Babson seeks to create an environment of entrepreneurship among a community of goal-driven and disciplined students.
There’s a mandatory course called Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship where students get to work in small teams to start and run an actual business of their choosing.
There is then a friendly competition between all the “companies” to make the most profits & unit sales.
Babson focuses on hands-on, experiential learning. Professors are super helpful in making internship connections and job opportunities since they all have extensive networks.
Although Babson is a business school, about half of students’ classes are in the liberal arts.
It’s also close to Boston for internships
