Fun fact / campus tradition: Howard’s Homecoming is a big deal, with events such as the Step Show and Public Service Challenge over the entire weekend. One of the most highly-anticipated events is Yardfest, a free concert that hosts performances by some of hip-hop’s biggest names. Artists have included 2 Chainz, Drake, Meek Mill, T.I., Jay-Z, and Common, among many others.
