U Miami boasts a gorgeous campus, with an incredible range of courses including great programs in the sciences, engineering, and music. Classes are challenging, but rewarding, and professors are approachable and knowledgeable. Their academic diversity is paired with cultural diversity. Students tend to be active and sporty, but Greek life has a big presence. Sports are HUGE, so you’d definitely have that “college football” experience.

Campus tradition: Sportsfest! Students gather into teams assigned by dorm floor, and then compete in a series of obscure sporting events. Activities include canoe races, rock-paper-scissors tournaments, wii sports, and cornhole.

U Miami has a very Hispanic-friendly campus, as about a quarter of the school identifies as Hispanic.
