Providence College is a beautiful, friendly, close-knit campus right by Rhode Island’s capital, which lends itself to fantastic internship opportunities. There’s also an incredible alumni base, which can make post-grad job searching easier. They offer a strong liberal arts core curriculum with small class sizes that facilitate more discussion and less lecture. Though classes are challenging, professors are accessible, and there’s a close relationship with the administration. Outside of the classroom, there is a fairly strong drinking culture, but it’s recognized as being a safe campus. Providence does strongly participate in the Catholic Dominican tradition - most students and faculty are Catholic.
