Centre is a small, personable school with a great national reputation. They aim to provide students with a global perspective through classes and a robust study abroad program. Classes are small, with close one-on-one interaction with professors. Students work hard and study a lot, but there's also a sizable social scene and big Greek presence. The community is open and friendly, and the post-grad network is extensive, which can help a lot with job placements.
Popular majors / known for: Psychology, Biology, Economics
Academic approach: Liberal arts with a general education curriculum. An "intensely personal and deeply engaging" education, designed to prepare students to be successful professionals, responsible citizens, and lifelong learners.
Fun fact: The Centre Commitment guarantees that all students will have a study abroad, an internship/research opportunity, AND graduate in four years or Centre will provide up to a year of additional study tuition-free.
Campus tradition: Lucky Lincoln. Students place pennies face-side up on the boots of the Lincoln statue before tests or important events for good luck!
