George Washington is a fantastic school in DC that stresses hands-on learning. Faculty are wonderful, and undergrads have access to plenty of connections and opportunities. They boast excellent international relations and journalism programs, and this is THE place to get a political science major. Classes emphasize practical learning and balance theory with application.
