Big School Feel

When thinking about college, many students consider the academic or financial fit of a school before looking at a school's social fit. But this is an important aspect to consider when you're building a balanced list. Often when students transfer, it is not because of academics, but because they feel like they don't belong.

How can you start to determine which schools will be a good social fit?

    • Visit campus (look into fly-in programs!) to see what student do there outside of class and feel the vibe of campus

    • What types of active student groups are on campus? Clubs? Athletics? Affinity groups? Greek life?

    • Are there spaces on campus that you could see yourself in?

If you are looking for a big school feel, with some of the intimacy of a smaller campus, these schools could fit what you're looking for.
