Trinity is a small, prestigious liberal arts school offering a top-notch education. Social sciences rule the day here. Classes are small, allowing for great discussion, and faculty are easily accessible and actually know their students. Trinity also has amazing career resources and study abroad opportunities. While it’s a smaller school, you have access to the city of Hartford, and the state capitol is only 2 blocks away. Outside of academics, the college is very welcoming and has a relaxed atmosphere, and Greek life is big.
Popular majors / known for: Economics, Political Science, English, Engineering
Academic approach: Liberal arts with a focus on learning beyond the classroom, community engagement, and civic responsibility
Campus tradition: Trinity has a long history of passing down a wooden lemon squeezer between classes. These days, the lemon squeezer only appears at Convocation, when the college president squeezes a fresh lemon to make a toast to the incoming class, followed by lemonade for all.

Similarity to Dartmouth
