Denison is a small university in the Midwest with an East Coast liberal arts feel. Class sizes are small and varied, professors are intelligent, and critical thinking is highly encouraged. Academic involvement is also highly regarded, and they offer a strong support network for students, including a diverse alumni network which helps with post-grad job searching. The student body is diverse, with many extracurriculars offered, and there's a strong sense of community.
Popular majors / known for: Psychology, Biology, Economics, Communications
Academic approach: Liberal arts. Denison's Learning Guide encourages students to center their learning on asking questions, being creative, taking risks, maintaining integrity, and showing courage.
Campus tradition: Walking around the college seal embedded in Chapel Walk; it's rumored that if you step on it, you won't graduate!
Fun fact:
Students living on campus may choose to do so in sustainability-focused cabins, in the Homestead intentional living community.
Granville is a tight-knit community with lots of charm! The town features a small custard shop with weekly flavors, a cute book store, a local farmer's market, two art galleries, and two cozy inns (one is rumored to be haunted).

Business/Economics Opportunities
While Denison does not offer a business major, they do offer majors in economics and global commerce, and they have a pre-business advising program that will ensure students who wish to go on to business school are prepared to do so.
Denison offers students access to 9 Bloomberg Terminals, which allows students to view real time global financial data.
They offer resources to prepare students to enter graduate school, including free practice exams for the GMAT (also the GRE, LSAT, and MCAT).
