First and foremost, think about what you really like about Harvard and talk with your coach about aspects that draw you to Harvard beyond just the name/prestige. Your coach will be able to recommend schools based specifically on what you want to get our of your college experience.

If you're interested in Harvard, your state flagship is a great school to have on your list. Like Harvard, these schools have a huge amount of prestige linked to name recognition both locally in your state and nationally. State schools often have strong alumni groups, great job opportunities for students, and other fantastic resources. Honors colleges and other specialty schools within the university can help you build a rigorous academic schedule.
