Dartmouth is one of the smaller Ivies and it puts the majority of it's focus onto undergraduate students. The college atmosphere definitely embraces a work hard, play hard mentality with rigorous academics intersecting with a big party culture. Located in Hanover, New Hampshire the school is very rural and there are lots of outdoor activities. Greek life does tend to dominate the social scene, with at least half of the students participating in it.
