Cornell is the biggest of the ivies, which comes with a different college experience. It is the most like a large state school or the Big 10 of all the ivies, so students can expect a similar experience. The College embraces the idea of “any person, any study.” Classes are notoriously rigorous and the school does struggle with providing resources to help students, but professors are excellent and care for their classes. Ithaca is small, but there is a lot going on in not a lot of space. There are also lots of fantastic state parks nearby and the many waterfalls led to the slogan “Ithaca is gorge-ous.” The Business and Economics program is top notch.
