Oil Pastel Color Study

This is my Oil pastel color study, it is set at a barn in Freeport with my horse. I made this piece using oil pastel and blending it with a tortillon to make the project accurately match the photo. I chose to make this specific photo into a pixelated project because I liked the variety of colors and thought it would look good as this type of art. My project evolved a lot as I continued making it because in the beginning the colors aren't very accurate but they get more and more as you go down the page. This fact also ties into what I would improve because if I was going back and working more on the project I would darken the blue in the sky of the project.
