Sustained Investigation #6

This is my Sustained Investigation #6 which I also created on Acorn digitally. This has become one of my favorite ways to create art recently. I chose to make this piece because I wanted to focus on the human body and my friends volunteered to pose for me to draw them. I wasn't sure what this specific piece was going to be because I have been drawing lots of portraits and wanted to switch it up so Ms. Medsker suggested I do a piece with physical bodies in it which is why I had my models stand up for the picture.

Because this work was made digitally, I didn't use any physical art supplies. However, on the drawing app I used the paintbrush tool to first outline and then the bucket tool to fill in spaces. I find the bucket tool very helpful especially when I have drawn details and need to outline them with another color because it will perfectly go around the details and fill in the spaces.

I started with the details when I was making this piece and then I went in on the bigger parts of the piece and filled in open spaces. This project evolved a lot because I actually began making it by starting on the background but then I realized it would be cooler if I did one solid color with designs instead so I erased what I had done. I don't think there is much else I could improve or add on this piece but I do think there are some parts of the piece that show the white under the parts I drew so going back and getting rid of those parts could improve the piece.
