These are my three time capsule pieces, one representing something from my past, one my future, and one is a zoomed self portrait. These were all made as observational drawings, meaning I was looking directly at them when I drew them. I drew these with the intention of capturing form in proportion and capturing the value of the objects, with shadows and highlights.

All of these were drawn with graphite and the clock as well as the glass horse also have pen and charcoal. These materials where how I was able to capture the value of the objects and their form.

My clock drawing represents my future because it is the clock I use for my alarm if I'm worried I won't wake up on time from my phone alarm and I know I will be using it in my future. My eye drawing was done to represent my zoomed part of myself and my glass horse drawing was done as a part of my past because my mom gave it to me when I was little. My first eye portrait was torn up by my dog so I made this second version
