Find Your Voice
Find Your Voice
Child Abuse: 8.75x6 In
Smoking: 10x7 in
For the find your voice project I did two different projects with two different messages. The one on the left is made to encourage people to stop smoking and the one on the right is pointing out the reality of child abuse. My smoking work was made by finding fitting cut outs from a magazine and gluing them on a smog colored background. The pieces glued on are supposed to represent how smoking will affect you and cautionary things to inform you that smoking is bad. The other work about child abuse artwork is made using charcoal that I tried to blend and leave the blank park for the dad and allow him to have the most detail. My next steps in this process would probably be to add a quote to the charcoal project but I couldn't think of a super good one that would fit the mood. I would also make the pictures on the collage project all more relevant so they all fit together better.
