Duck Stamp

In this project, we were asked to draw a duck using any means we wished. So, I decided to take my time and draw an ocean duck. I personally had a lot of fun making this piece, and overall went for a cuter perspective of a duck, which I normally do. This helped me learn a bunch of new techniques, and overall I enjoyed drawing this piece. I looked at a bunch of different references when making this piece, so it was important to get the shape down first. I focused on working on anatomy, which lead to a realistic proportional duck. This project didn't exactly evolve too much, but the initial idea took a while to figure out before I began drawing. I was unsure of how I wanted to do the piece, so the duck research is what took the longest. If I were to continue working on this piece, I would add color. Color would be the most important aspect to this piece, but due to crunch time I only worked on paper pencil.
